Yesterday I visited Arulmigu Patteswarar temple in Perur. It is a well known shiva temple in Coimbatore region.
Being Pradosam day, there was good crowd inside the temple. Main deity is Shiva, a syambhu moorthy.
One should visit the temple in leisure to closely look at the architecture of the temple. The sculptures in the pillars inside Natarajar sannadhi are awesome.
Noyyal river is flowing near by. There is also a temple tank opposite to the temple.

Location: On the way between Coimbatore – Siruvani.
How to get there: Perur is well connected by road. Lots of public transport buses pass through Perur. From Railway Station, you can board bus NO. 2 which will take you straight to Perur.
